BATTLE OF HUNAYN & TABUK
The Battle of Hunayn ( Arabic : غَـزوة حُـنـيـن , Ghazwat Hunayn ) was fought by the Islamic Prophet Muhammad and his followers against the Bedouin tribe of Hawazin and its subsection the Thaqif , in 630 CE , in the Hunayn valley, on the route from Mecca to At- Ta’if . Arab after victories of Muslims in Mecca accepted Islam except Banu Thaqeef tribe who lived in Ta'if and Banu Hawa Zan tribe as they thought that their positions became down so they prepared army for battle. Prophet first confirmed then prepared army against them. Muslim army was twelve thousand. After victory in Mecca, prophet commanded his companions to destroy all idols from all areas located near to Medina. Hazrat Khalid bin Waleed went toward Nakhla for destroying idols.
